Data on pedestrian stops were provided by the Clinton Police Department. However, racial disparities in pedestrian stops could not be reliably assessed because there were fewer than 10 stops recorded for Black, Latinx, and Native people during the assessment period. This is below CPE’s minimum sample size requirements for performing complex statistical analyses, a data threshold we maintain to avoid drawing broad conclusions about racial equity based on a handful of stops.
